ROLLE (OR VERMENTINO, A VERY SIMILAR VARIETY)
This variety is of Ligurian origin and has always been cultivated in Provence. It is both robust and extremely delicious. It gives wines brimming with citrus fruit and pear, full-bodied and balanced, with great finesse in both body and aroma.
UGNI BLANC
This variety comes from Tuscany and has round and juicy fruit, producing clear and particularly fine fruity wine.
CLAIRETTE
This very old Provence variety produces little but its oblong fruit offers wines with extraordinary aromas and bouquets, highlighted by fruity notes and with white flesh.
SEMILLON
This is a sturdy and productive growth but which fears rot. When used in small proportions, it lends aroma and body to the wine, as well as roundness and elegance, with notes of white flowers and honey.
BOURBOULENC BLANC OR DOILLON
This late, particularly rustic and robust variety remains discrete in Provence. It lends a touch of finesse and roundness.
