AOC in 1975. Pacherenc is a white wine produced in the same zone as Madiran. Dry or sweet, the Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh wines are mainly made of petit and gros manseng, blended with arrufiac and courbu. A small amount of sauvignon blanc and semillon is also grown. The best wines of the appellation can compete with those of the Jurançon.
