Red Scorpion Fish
The red scorpion fish is a bottom-dweller with a large head covered with ridges that are also present under the throat. Varying in color, they are usually pinkish but sometimes red or even bright orange. They can reach 50 cm in length. An essential ingredient in bouillabaisse and fish soups, they are prized by chefs for their fine, firm, flavorful flesh.
