Massala
Massala is a traditional blend from northern India used to spice various dishes.
Garam Massala
This blend has a curry-like flavor but with a sweeter taste. Coriander, cardamom, cumin, cassia, cloves, mace, bay and tellicherry black pepper combine to make a great all-purpose seasoning for meats, pilafs, and vegetables. Garam masala has a natural affinity for lamb but try it as a rub for chicken, beef and even salmon.
