- 210 g (7 oz.) diced salt pork
- 160 ml (10 tbsp.) Maple Syrup
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
  1. Soak the beans in cold water overnight. Drain them and place them in a pot with the other ingredients.
  2. Cover with water and mix well. Bring to a boil and cook in a 150° C (300° F) oven, covered, for 4 hours, then uncover and cook 1 hour longer.
