Chocolate Orange Fondue

Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
- 200 ml (3/4 cup) cream
- 200 g (7 oz.) couverture or 70% dark chocolate
- 1/2 tsp. grated orange zest
- juice of 1 orange
- 3 Tbsp. orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
- sugar (depending on the sweetness of the chocolate)

Accompaniments, as desired
- banana
- apple
- pineapple slices
- strawberries
- kiwi
- pound cake
- etc.
Method
  1. Heat the cream in a bowl set over simmering water (double boiler). Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in the cream.
  2. Flavor with the orange zest, juice, sugar and liqueur.
  3. Cut up the fruit and cut the cake into cubes.
  4. Serve immediately in a fondue pot set over a warmer.
