Chocolate Tartlets Recipe

Ingredients for 35 tartlets (7-8 cm/3
- 450 g (1 lb.) couverture Chocolate (or semi-sweet dark chocolate)
- 500 ml (2 cups) heavy cream (35%)
- 4 egg yolks
- 35 ml (2 tbsp.) Kahlua (optional)
- 35 [sweet pastry tartlet shells]
  1. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie (over hot water).
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the cream and the Kahlua; pour over the melted chocolate and add the egg yolks one at a time (the mixture must not be too hot);
  3. pour the mixture into the pre-baked tart shells;
  4. serve warm or cold.
