Chef's Note

You can vary the recipe, depending on whether you prefer it creamier or more acidic - either 30 ml (2 tbsp.) each of vinegar and milk, or without vinegar and with 60 ml (1/4 cup) 15% cream.

For 4 servings

- 250 ml (1 cup) cabbage, grated

Creamy dressing
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) mayonnaise
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) white or cider vinegar (see variations above)
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- Salt and pepper

- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- or
- 1 tbsp. sweet relish

  1. Combine the mayonnaise with the milk, cream or vinegar. 
  2. Combine all the ingredients and refrigerate for several hours.
