Far Breton Recipe
	Flavors of Brittany 
Total time: 30 to 60 minutes

Ingredients
- 200 g pitted prunes
- 5 eggs
- 130 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar (30 ml)
- 220 g flour
- 750 ml / 3 cups whole milk
- 20 g half-salt butter, plus some extra shavings
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180° C (350° F).
- Whisk the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the flour and blend well.
- Gradually whisk in the milk to form a smooth batter.
- Melt 20 g of butter in a saucepan or in the microwave and mix into the batter.
- Butter a cake pan and place the prunes in it.
- Pour the batter over top and bake for approximately 45 minutes.
- Five minutes before the end of the baking time, sprinkle some half-salted butter shavings on top. Check for doneness with the tip of a knife. Cool before serving.
