Honey Pineapple Chutney

- 1 ripe Pineapple
- 1 large onion
- 2 pears
- 1 1/2 tbsp. oil
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) honey
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. orange zest
- 1 tbsp. fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
Method
  1. Peel the pineapple and pears and dice finely; finely chop the onion. 
  2. Place the pineapple, apple and onion in a saucepan; add all the other ingredients. 
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat and simmer for 55 minutes, covered. Let cool.
