Hot and Spicy Almonds Recipe

Kick it up a notch with a handful of spicy-seasoned almonds.
Ingredients
For 8 servings
- 2 Tsp. (10 ml) chili powder
- 1 Tsp. (5 ml) curry powder
- 1 Tsp. (5 ml) garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) olive oil or almond oil
- 285 g / 2 cups whole roasted almonds
- 1/2 Tsp. (3 ml) hot sauce to taste
Method
- Place the chili, the curry and the garlic into a frying pan with the olive oil. Cook over medium heat for for few seconds.
- Add the almonds. Cook for 3 - 4 minutes. and stir to coat evenly with seasonings. Let cool.
- Add sauce and hot pepper seasoning. Let cool completely before serving.
