- 20 large Sage leaves
- 10 shavings of Pecorino Romano cheese
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp. milk
- Oil for frying
- A pinch of salt
Method
- wash the sage leaves; dry them well on a cloth;
- dip each leaf in beaten egg;
- place a thin shaving of cheese between two sage leaves; fry until golden; drain on paper towels; salt to taste and serve hot.
