Prune, Apricot and Orange Salad with Bordeaux Wine Recipe

Ingredients
Ingredients for 6 servings
- 500 ml (2 cups) Bordeaux wine
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) water
- 150 g (5 oz.) granulated sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 vanilla bean
- 2 oranges
- 500 g (18 oz.) Agen Prunes
- 250 g (9 oz.) soft dried Apricots
Method
- Make a syrup from the water, sugar, wine and split vanilla bean.
- Once the syrup is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the zests of the orange and lemon.
- Add the prunes, apricots and orange, halved and thinly sliced.
- Macerate for 48 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
