Maple Ricotta Spread Recipe

Spread on toast, pancakes, waffles, bagels, croissants, etc., or simply enjoy with fruit.

Ingredients
- 1/2 packet unflavored gelatin
- 1 egg white
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) maple syrup
- 250 ml (1 cup) ricotta cheese
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Method
- Soften the gelatin in a little water according to package directions.
- Beat the egg white to stiff peaks with the maple syrup.
- Gently fold in the ricotta, dissolved gelatin and ginger.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
