Ingredients
For 4 servings

- 450 g (1 lb.) strawberries
- 50 g (2 oz.) dark chocolate
- 50 g (2 oz.) white chocolate

Sweet pastry
- 260 g (9 oz.) softened butter
- 150 g (5 oz.) icing sugar
- 85 g (3 oz.) almond powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 g (1/2 tsp.) salt
- 2 g (1/2 tsp.) vanilla
- 430 g (15 oz.) flour
Method

Strawberry soup

  1. Purée 300 g (10 oz.) plain strawberries.
  2. Stir in 150 g (5 oz.) cut up strawberries.

Sweet pastry

  1. Thoroughly combine all the ingredients and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Roll out the pastry and cut into even strips.
  3. Bake in a 200° C (400° F) oven for 20 minutes.

Assembly

  1. Melt the dark and white chocolates.
  2. Dip the pastry sticks into the chocolate, alternating ends between dark and white.
  3. Pour the strawberry soup into a glass, then crisscross the pastry sticks over the glass.
  4. Garnish with a strawberry.
