Japaleno Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 eggs, well-beaten
- 1 package (225 g / 8 oz.) cream cheese
- 250 ml (1 cup) cream corn
- 250 ml (1 cup) cornmeal
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 175 ml (2/3 cup) oil
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) jalapeños, chopped
- 250 ml (1 cup) grated cheese
Method
- Combine the ingredients thoroughly in the order given.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured 20 cm (8") square cake pan or a loaf pan.
- Bake at 170° C (325° F) for 45 minutes.
