Served as an afternoon snack.
You can slice it into 1 cm (1/2") thick rounds before cooking to reduce cooking time.
Ingredients
- 450 g (1 lb.) cooked (steamed or boiled) cassava (Yuca)
- Peanut or canola oil for frying
- Salt, onion salt or garlic salt to taste
Method
- Heat the oil;
- slice the rounds into thirds; fry until golden;
- drain and place on paper towels;
- sprinkle with salt, onion salt or garlic salt to taste.
