Served as an afternoon snack.

You can slice it into 1 cm (1/2") thick rounds before cooking to reduce cooking time.

- 450 g (1 lb.) cooked (steamed or boiled) cassava (Yuca)
- Peanut or canola oil for frying
- Salt, onion salt or garlic salt to taste
  1. Heat the oil;
  2. slice the rounds into thirds; fry until golden;
  3. drain and place on paper towels;
  4. sprinkle with salt, onion salt or garlic salt to taste.
