Ingredients for 4-6 servings
- 1 cross rib Beef roast
- 6 potatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 or 2 yellow peppers
- 1 small can of Mandarin and Tangerines, with their juice
- 175 ml (3/4 cup) water
- 50 ml (3 tbsp.) Bovril or other beef concentrate
  1. Place the beef in the center of the crock pot;
  2. peel the potatoes and place them around the roast; 
  3. cut the yellow pepper and onions into strips; sprinkle over and around the roast; 
  4. add the water, the small can of mandarins with their juice and the beef concentrate; 
  5. put on the lid and turn on for 6 hours on high or 10 hours on low. 

The removable crock lets you bring dinner directly to the table. After that, it can go into the dishwasher!
