Sugar Shack Maple Pancakes

- 60 ml (1/4 cup) butter
- 250 ml (1 cup) Maple Syrup
- 125 - 200 ml (1/2 to 3/4 cup) flour
- A pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- lard for cooking
  1. Melt the butter in the hot maple syrup.
  2. Off the heat, incorporate the flour to obtain a smooth and homogeneous dough; add salt and baking powder.
  3. Grease a skillet and drop the batter in by spoonfuls.
  4. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, turning the pancakes half-way through. 

Serve warm or cold with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream or fruits.
