Tomato Coulis Recipe

Chef's Note
Tomato coulis is generally served cold as an accompaniment to vegetable dishes such as eggplant flan. It's best to make it ahead of time and refrigerate it so that the flavors have time to blend.
It can also be heated and used as a sauce for pasta.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 can of Tomatoes, without the juice
- 5 Basil leaves or 1 tsp. basil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
Method
- Place all the ingredients into a food processor;
- Blend for 30 seconds until the tomatoes are liquefied;
- Serve cold.
