Apple Crisp Recipe

Ingredients
For 6 servings
- 1.5 liters (6 cups) sliced peeled apples
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) sifted all-purpose flour
- 160 ml (3/4 cup) oatmeal
- 250 ml (1 cup) brown sugar
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) butter
Method
- Place the apples in a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with the lemon juice.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, oatmeal and sugar.
- Rub in the butter with your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the apples.
- Bake in a 190° C (375° F) oven for 35-40 minutes.
