Simple Chicken Noodle Meal Soup Recipe

Ingredients
For 8 servings
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
- 1.5 L / 6 cups hot water
- 2 pots Knorr® Homestyle Stock Chicken *
- 500 g / 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 125 g / 4 oz thin egg noodles
Method
- Heat oil in large saucepot over medium heat and cook onion, carrot and celery, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until tender.
- Stir in hot water and Chicken Stock. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring to melt Stock.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in chicken. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Stir in noodles and simmer an additional 5 minutes or until noodles are tender and chicken is thoroughly cooked.

*The little pot of Knorr stock is a gelled concentrate that really tastes like homemade stock. You can use real homemade stock or a traditional concentrate – use the amount required for the quantity of water.
