Ingredients
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 340-400 g (12-14 oz.) fettuccine (see Pasta)
- 2 egg yolks
- 500 ml (2 cups) heavy cream
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 110 g (4 oz.) Parmesan
- 110 g (4 oz.) raw (cured) ham, cut into strips
- Salt and pepper
Method
  1. Cook and drain the fettucine;
  2. beat the egg yolks with the cream;
  3. in a large skillet, melt the butter; add the pasta, the cream and egg yolk mixture and the Parmesan;
  4. mix everything together with two forks; be careful, since the sauce thickens quickly;
  5. add the strips of cured ham and serve immediately.
