Fried rice Recipe

Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 500 ml / 2 cups cooked rice , steamed
- 1/2 carrot, cooked
- 45 ml / 3 Tbsp. green peas
- 5 ml / 1 Tsp. sesame oil
- 30 ml / 2 Tbsp. peanut or vegetable oil
- 30 ml / 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- pepper
Method
- Heat a wok or frying pan and add 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
- Add the rice. Stir-fry for a few minutes, using chopsticks or a wooden spoon to break it apart.
- Stir in the soy sauce as desired.
- Add the chopped carrot, the green peas, the sesame oil and the black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes. Sprinkle with the chopped green onion (white and green parts). Serve hot.
