Grilled Turkey and Fontina Sandwich

For 4 servings

- 8 slices hearty bread
- 1/4 pound (1 stick) butter, room temperature
- 16 slices of fontina cheese
- 1 pound smoked turkey or some cooked turkey leftover
- 1 Granny Smith apple, sliced thin
- 4 tbsp. cherry chutney
  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place four slices of the bread, buttered side down, in a large, nonstick pan or griddle, on medium heat.
  3. Top each with 2 slices of fontina cheese, turkey, sliced apples, 1 tablespoon of chutney. and 2 slices of fontina cheese. Top with the remaining four slices of bread, buttered side out.
  4. Grill each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
