Lassi Flavored with Rose Water Recipe
Chef's Note
The Indian beverage par excellence is tea with milk and spices (chai), but fruit juices and lassi (and in southern India sugar cane juice, sometimes flavored with fresh ginger and lime) are other popular drinks.
Lassi is a sweet drink that is very popular in India. It can be made plain or flavored with spices and flower waters.
In Nepal, fruit is often whipped into the liquid: for instance banana, which makes a very creamy drink something like a milk shake.
