Maple grog Recipe
Chef's Note
Celebrate maple in all its forms with the Coureur des Bois family of maple spirits. Created in Cowansville, in the beautiful Eastern Townships region, by the Quebec distillery Les Spiritueux Ungava, this cocktail features the original Coureur des Bois maple whisky or the brand new Coureur des bois Excellence 12 years old, aged with our maple signature touch.
Ingredients
Per cup
- 60 ml (2 oz) maple whisky Coureur des Bois
- 30 ml (1 oz) apple juice
- Hot water
- Fresh Thyme
- A few black peppercorns
- Lemon wedge
Method
- In a mug, pour the whiskey and raw apple juice.
- Dilute with hot water.
- Add black pepper, lemon and a sprig of thyme.
- Stir gently to blend the flavors.
