Chef's Note

Les Spiritueux Ungava distillery is proud to present its brand new "La Mentherie" crème de menthe, made with fresh mint and creeping snowberry from Quebec. A lovely emerald color, the liqueur offers flavours of freshly-infused mint with peppery overtones. The creeping snowberry provides a delicate menthol boreal note to the finish. 

Ingredients
Per glass

- 45 ml / 1-1/2 oz La Mentherie crème de menthe
- 20 ml / 3/4 oz lime juice
- 1 Tbsp. egg white
- Ice cubes
- Edible flower or a slice of lime for garnish
Method
  1. Place all the ingredients in a shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously until the egg white is foamy.
  3. Pour into a cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with an edible flower or a slice of lime.

Produced and bottled in Quebec at Les Spiritueux Ungava distillery in Cowansville, La Mentherie is an artisanal product with an evocative name from popular Quebec French. With an alcohol content of 23%, this digestif is made with an herb typical of Quebec boreal forests, creeping snowberry, which gives it a totally unique flavour.
