Mozzarella in carrozza - version simple

- 8 slices of bread
- 4 eggs
- breadcrumbs
- flour
- 450 g / 1 lb. Mozzarella
- 250 ml / 1 cup milk
- vegetable oil for frying

  1. Moisten the bread with a small amount of milk.
  2. Cut Mozzarella into slices the same thickness as the bread.
  3. Insert a slice of Mozzarella between two slices of bread.
  4. Coat with flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil.  Both sides will become golden crispy. Repeat the process until all the Mozzarella and the bread have been used.
