Old Pear Tree - France Recipe
Total time: less than 15 minutes
- 1 part Poire William (pear liquor)
- 2 parts pear syrup
- 3 parts sweet white wine
- A dash of strawberry syrup
- 1 whole pear
- Poach 1 pear with very little water and a lot of sugar. Peel it.
- Strain the syrup.
- Cool the pear and its syrup.
- Combine the pear liquor, pear syrup, white wine and strawberry syrup in a large flute.
- Add a few ice cubes and serve with a straw.
