Orange butter Recipe

Chef's Note
You can serve a whipped butter in a ramekin dish or you can roll the butter into cling film like a sausage. Refrigerate until firm.
You can add 1 Tbsp. honey
You can substitute 1 Tsp. Grand Marnier to orange juice.
Cold, orange butter is great with muffin, brioche…
Warm, it goes well with seafood like lobster and scallops, carrots, pancakes…
Ingredients
Method
- Soften the butter by leaving it out of the fridge and bringing it to room temperature.
- Lightly cream the softened butter with a fork or beat it with an electric beater.
- Add the orange juice and zest. Mix until well combined.
- Let mixture stand for an hour to allow the orange flavours to infuse into the butter.
