Pork Cheek in white wine Recipe

Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 8 pork Cheeks
- 1 lemon, unsprayed
- 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped
- 200 g (7 oz.) pearl onions
- 600 g (1 lb. 5 oz.) shelled beans
- 1/2 glass white wine
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Method
- Heat a cocotte or Dutch oven with the olive oil and sauté the pork cheeks on all sides.
- Add the pearl onions and chopped garlic and brown for 3 minutes longer, stirring regularly. Season with salt and pepper and add the white wine.
- Cut the lemon into 8 wedges, add to the cocotte, cover and cook for 20 minutes over low heat.
- Add the beans, cover again, and cook 10 minutes longer.
Serve very hot. You could accompany this dish with steamed potatoes.
