Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients
For 4 servings

- 500 g / 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
- 250 ml / 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pot Knorr® Homestyle Stock Beef *
- 230 g / 8 oz can creamed corn
- 750 ml / 3 cups hot mashed potatoes
Method
  1. Preheat oven to 200 °C / 400 °F.
  2. Brown ground beef, onion and carrot in a 30 cm / 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for about 6 minutes.
  3. Stir in water, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and Knorr® Homestyle Stock Beef.
  4. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Season, if desired, with salt and pepper.
  5. Turn beef mixture into 25 cm / 10 inch deep-dish pie plate, then evenly top with corn and potatoes. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbling.

TIP: Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
