Soup with Asian Greens Recipe
Chef's Note
You can add chicken, pork or duck stripes.
Ingredients
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 2 liters (8 cups) chicken stock
- 1 kg (2 1/4 lb.) Bok Choy
- 1 small piece of peeled fresh Ginger
- 1 tbsp. peppercorns
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Chinese noodles and / or chop suey
- 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce or Soya Sauce
Method
- Sauté the peeled garlic cloves in a dry saucepan to brown them and bring out their flavor;
- place all the ingredients into the pan except the noodles and simmer for 1 hour over low heat;
- 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the Chinese noodles;
- remove the garlic and ginger; serve.
