Use a clear glass to allow the color and texture of the granita to show through.
Ingredients
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 250 ml (1 cup) strawberry Ice Cream
- 300 g (10 oz.) raspberries (Raspberry)
- 1 tbsp. powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp. dried lemon verbena leaves
- 6 ice cubes
- Sweetened whipped cream
- 4 tall glasses
Method
- Grind the lemon verbena to a powder or use the contents of 3 lemon verbena tea bags.
- Place the raspberries, sugar, verbena and ice cubes in a blender. Blend on high speed until a granita (a slightly granular ice) forms.
- Divide among tall glasses and top with a small scoop of strawberry ice cream (slightly smaller than the diameter of the glass.)
- Garnish with whipped cream and serve immediately.
