Sweet pastry or Pâte sucrée Recipe

Ingredients
Ingredients for 35 7-8 cm tarts
- 450 g (1 lb.) flour
- 270 g (1 c. + 3 tbsp.) softened butter
- 3 eggs
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) water
- 225 g (8 oz.) sugar
Method
- Mix together the flour and the butter;
- add the sugar;
- add in the eggs and the water;
- roll out the pastry and line the tart molds;
- place in a moderate oven; remove from the oven once they begin to brown;
- fill as desired: with chocolate, pastry cream, lemon curd, etc.
