Chef's Note

A cocktail created at Les Voyageurs bar of the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montréal as part of maple season from March 12th to April 19th. Experience the tasting menu at Le Montrealais restaurant or immerse yourself in a sugar shack atmosphere for the Sunday brunch.

For each drink

- 45 ml / 1.5 oz. Maker’s Mark whisky
- 15 ml / 0.5 oz. maple syrup
- 15 ml / 0.5 oz. lime juice
- ginger beer

  1. Stir all the ingredients together in a shaker.
  2. Fill with ice and shake vigorously.
  3. Pour into an old-fashioned glass and serve.
  4. Garnish with a slice of lime.
