Almond Milk Recipe

Ingredients
- 32 g (1 oz.) blanched sweet almonds (26-27)
- 32 g (1 oz.) white sugar
- 1 liter (4 cups) cold water
Method
- Mash the almonds with a little cold water in a mortar to a very fine paste;
- dissolve the sugar in the remaining water;
- pour over the almond paste and mix thoroughly; strain through cheesecloth.
