Apple-Flamed Prawns Recipe

Ingredients
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 12 to 16 prawns (Shrimp), depending on size
- 130 g (1/2 cup) half-salted butter
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 8 sprigs of fresh thyme
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 100 ml (6 tbsp.) Calvados
Method
- Season the prawns with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt half the butter in the olive oil; heat; add the prawns and cook for 6-8 minutes.
- Pour in the Calvados; add the thyme and flambé.
- Add the remaining butter and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
