Perfect with cold chicken, a fish terrine or as a dip

- 500 ml (2 cups) plain yogurt
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) heavy cream (35%)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp. fresh chopped Basil
- Salt and pepper
Method
  1. process all the ingredients in a food processor;
  2. it's best to let the sauce rest for 30 minutes at room temperature before serving so the flavors blend; it can also be prepared in advance. 

Hints and tips

  1. This sauce will keep for several days in the refrigerator. 
  2. If the sauce thickens too much, thin with a little milk.
