- 500 ml (2 cups) plain yogurt
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) heavy cream (35%)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp. fresh chopped Basil
- Salt and pepper
Method
- process all the ingredients in a food processor;
- it's best to let the sauce rest for 30 minutes at room temperature before serving so the flavors blend; it can also be prepared in advance.
Hints and tips
- This sauce will keep for several days in the refrigerator.
- If the sauce thickens too much, thin with a little milk.
