Flank Steak with Paprika Recipe
Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 700 g (1 lb. 8 oz.) veal Flank Steak
- 1 rounded tbsp. Paprika
- 1 glass of chicken stock
- 250 g (8 oz.) tomato pulp
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp. golden raisins
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 small container crème fraîche
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Cut the veal flank steak into large cubes. Peel and chop the garlic. Peel and slice the onions thinly.
- Heat a cocotte or Dutch oven with the olive oil. Add the meat, garlic and onions and sauté until browned, stirring often with a wooden spoon.
- Sprinkle with paprika, add the broth, tomato pulp and raisins. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper; cover and cook for 1 hour over low heat.
- Transfer to a deep platter and add the cream just before serving.
