Mango Chutney Recipe

Chef's Note
Ingredients
- 2 Mangos
- 1 onion
- 150 g (5 oz.) sugar
- 200 ml (3/4 cup) water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 tbsp. wine vinegar
Method
- Peel and pit 2 mangos; peel and finely chop the onion.
- Place the onion, sugar, water and salt in a saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat.
- Add the chopped mango and wine vinegar. Cook 30 minutes longer. Cool.
