Difficulty: Easy
Chef's Note
Unusual discoveries
Unusual, but delicious! This mixture comes from Vermont, where maple products have a long tradition.
It can be used as a seasoning on grilled meat or fish, as well as on salads, rice or vegetables. Make a small amount and, if you like it, make a bigger batch - it keeps for a long time when stored away from light and heat, like any spice.
Ingredients
Method
Combine
- 2 parts grated maple sugar
- 2 parts sea salt
- 1 part white pepper
You can use equal quantities of all three if you want a stronger pepper flavor.
