Walnut Key Lime Pie Smoothie Recipe

Treat yourself to a taste of the tropics with this filling breakfast smoothie. Featuring heart-healthy walnuts, chock-full of omega-3’s and fibre-rich avocado, this breakfast replacement will give you the fuel you need to kick-start your day.
Suggestion: Substitute coconut milk and water with soy or rice milk. Try adding protein powder for a complete meal.
Ingredients
Per serving
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 small banana
- 175 ml / 3/4 cup cold water
- 75 ml / 1/3 cup California walnuts
- 75 ml / 1/3 cup coconut milk (reduced fat)
- 2 tbsp honey
- Juice from 1 lime
Method
- In a blender or using a hand blender, combine all ingredients and process until smooth. About 1 minute.
