Easter in the USA
In the United States, ham is undeniably the most popular Easter dish, cooked with orange juice in Florida, covered with pecans in the southeast, or glazed with apricot in California.
Did you know that you can take part in an Easter egg hunt with the President and his family? Families enter their names in a lottery to take part in the Easter egg roll that takes place every year at the White House.
For dessert, it depends on the state: pretty cupcakes in New York, ambrosia, in Mississippi, citrus meringue pies in Florida. There are daffodils on the table, chocolate and candy eggs and colorful cakes.
