Chai Tonic tea to warm you up during winter Recipe

In the winter, in cold northern regions, it’s comforting to have a drink specially made to heat up the body and strengthen its immunity.
Here’s a fragrant recipe that will certainly warm you up and protect you from winter’s icy blasts.
Ingredients
Per serving
- 1/2 Tsp. Chai spice blend
- 250 ml / 1 cup water
- 250 ml / 1 cup milk or soy beverage
- honey
Chai spice blend for 8 servings / 2 litres / 8 cups
- 2 Tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 Tsp. ground cardamom
- 2 Tsp. dried ginger, finely grated
- 1 Tsp. black peppercorns
- 1 Tsp. whole cloves
- 2 Tsp. dried orange peel (optional)
Method
Spice blend
- Combine all the ingredients.
Tonic tea
- Bring the water to a boil and add the chai spice blend and the desired amount of milk (or soy beverage). Let simmer for 20 minutes.
- Strain and sweeten with honey.
