Vanilla Ice Cream with Quick Cinnamon Crumble Recipe

Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 500 ml (2 cups) vanilla Ice Cream
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 Golden Delicious or Pink Lady Apples
- 6 cinnamon or spice cookies
- 2 tbsp. powdered sugar
- A knob of butter
Method
- Cut the apples into quarters and core them
- Place the butter in a skillet and sauté the apple wedges. Half way through the cooking, sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar. Let caramelize.
- Divide the apples among individual plates and top with the coarsely crumbled spice cookies.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
