Vanilla Ice Cream with Quick Cinnamon Crumble

For 4 servings

- 500 ml (2 cups) vanilla Ice Cream
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 Golden Delicious or Pink Lady Apples
- 6 cinnamon or spice cookies
- 2 tbsp. powdered sugar
- A knob of butter
  1. Cut the apples into quarters and core them
  2. Place the butter in a skillet and sauté the apple wedges. Half way through the cooking, sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar. Let caramelize.
  3. Divide the apples among individual plates and top with the coarsely crumbled spice cookies.
  4. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
