Wonton soup Recipe

Chef's Note
Some Chinese people like their soup a little spicy and use it finely sliced as a garnish or add it to the broth in step 5.
Ingredients
For 6 servings
- 8 cups vegetable broth
- 10 baby bok choy
- 400 g snap peas
- 300 g / 2 cups sprouts
- 2 carrots
- 2 broccoli head
- 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. minced ginger
- 454 g frozen wontons
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- Salt & pepper to taste
Garnishes
- 1 Tsp. green onions finely chopped
- 1 Tsp. cilantro leaves
- 1 red chili to taste (optional)
Method
- In a hot pot, pour the vegetable broth; bring to a boil.
- Add grated garlic and ginger; simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
- Cut the bok choy into strips; Break the broccoli into small florets; cut off the ends of the snap peas.
- Slice the carrot with a mandolin.
- Put all the vegetables in the broth; cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add frozen wontons; let simmer until fully cooked.
- Add the soy sauce. Salt, pepper to taste.
- Divide the soup among 6 bowls. Garnish with fred scallions and cilantro.
